People who live in Dhaka city are always bothered by the traffic jam. Now-a-days the traffic jam has become a part of our life. Even at 10 pm the streets of Dhaka is occupied by cars and buses. The increasing number of vehicles in the roads of Dhaka city contributes a huge part on creating the traffic jams. Despite all the troubles Dhaka city never stop running. Dhaka is developing itself with the time. Touch of modernization is making this city more and more accessible for the people. Travelling from one part of the city to another part is becoming much easier every day. The increasing number of public transport system is making life easier for us, especially for those who can’t afford their own private car.
People here in Dhaka city are socially very interactive. People in Dhaka city love their cultural and religious activity, they gather in huge numbers to take part in social and religious festivals. Whenever a social or religious festival come people of Dhaka welcomes the festival with open arms. People from all part of the society whether rich or poor enjoy the festivals every time. Dhaka city gets dressed into the color of rainbow at every festival. Dhaka forgets everything about its busy life during the time of festivals. It is like every festival brings Dhaka back to life.

Let’s talk about my city now, I mean Dhaka. It’s not that big but it’s famous for being a historical place. It is almost 400 years now since Dhaka city was first borne. Things have changed a lot in here from back then. Dhaka has the biggest population among all the other cities of Bangladesh. It has got most of the educational institutions too.

Dhaka is a place for mix cultural peoples and let me tell you one thing the peoples who love Bangladesh they love Dhaka too as being the capital. Peoples from different cultures, religion live here and work here to earn their living. Dhaka may be small in size but it is big in heart, it welcomes everyone.

You know Dhaka has a lot of historical places to visit as well, like Lalbagh Fort, Ahsan Monjil, Bolda Garden, Sonargaon etc. Well they are not just historical but also beautiful for a family hang out. There are also other hang out places like SangShad Bhaban(the parliament), Zia Uddan, Dhanmondi Lake, Botanical Garden, Shishu Park, The Zoo, National Museum, Fantasy Kingdom, Nondon Park, Novo Theater, Kanchon Nagar, Ashulia. Visit these places if you are in Dhaka city or not, does not matter if you are from a different part of the world or even if you are from Dhaka city itself.
